Dierdre Cooper, PMHNP-BC
- Who I Am, How I Got Here:
- Hi, I’m Dee Dee. I know what it feels like to hold everything together while struggling silently on the inside. Like many women, I’ve juggled multiple roles—caregiver, professional, friend—while putting my own needs last. That experience shaped how I show up as a provider: real, affirming, and culturally aware.
- As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I blend clinical expertise with empathy and understanding. I specialize in telehealth care for anxiety, depression, trauma, and women’s mental health—providing a safe, judgment-free space where you can reclaim your energy, focus, and joy.
- Who I help:
- I work with adult women across Nevada navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PMDD, and burnout. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, and leaders who appear to have it all together but feel exhausted and overwhelmed inside.
- I specialize in supporting Black women and women of color, providing a space where they can truly feel seen, respected, and heard.
- How I help:
- I provide collaborative medication management and mental health support that fits into your real life—not a cookie-cutter plan.
- My approach is straightforward, practical, and judgment-free. I take the time to explain your options, listen to your concerns, and work with you to find what truly helps you feel better. All sessions are 100% virtual, with flexible scheduling and insurance or private-pay options—making it easy to prioritize your mental health without adding more stress to your week. Booking your first appointment is simple, supportive, and designed for busy women like you.
- Off the Clock:
- When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me hanging out with my French Bulldog, Brodie, experimenting with new pescatarian recipes, or sneaking in some much-needed self-care. Like many of my clients, I know the value of carving out small moments of peace in the middle of a busy life—and I bring that same balance and understanding into my work with you.
