Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Nevada, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare (including UHC and Optum). We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. If you prefer self-pay, intake appointments are $310, and follow-up appointments are $155. We’ll always help you understand your options so there are no surprises.
Do you only see women?
Not at all—we see all adults. While we specialize in women’s mental health, anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or related concerns is welcome.
Do you treat clients outside Nevada?
At this time, we only provide telehealth care to adults living in Nevada.
Do you see clients in person?
No—our care is fully virtual. You’ll receive professional, HIPAA-compliant mental health support right from home. No travel, no waiting rooms—just easy, convenient online sessions.
How do virtual appointments work?
All sessions are online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Join from your phone, tablet, or computer—getting the mental health support you need anywhere in Nevada.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We offer flexible scheduling, often with openings within 1–2 weeks. If your needs are urgent, we’ll do our best to get you in sooner.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your initial intake lasts about 60 minutes. We’ll review your mental health history, symptoms, medications, lifestyle, and goals. Then we’ll create a treatment plan that’s realistic, supportive, and tailored to you.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! We just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Do you prescribe benzodiazepines or other controlled substances?
No. These medications are not safely managed virtually. We specialize in evidence-based, non-controlled treatment options for anxiety, depression, trauma, PMDD, and women’s mental health.
Do you offer therapy?
We provide supportive therapy as part of your telehealth care. If you want standalone therapy, we can coordinate with your current therapist or refer you to someone who fits your needs.
